R.J. grew up on Grand Island, NY.  He attended SUNY at Buffalo.  After graduating in 1990 with a B.S. in Accounting, he went to work for Price Waterhouse in Buffalo.  He earned his CPA, worked for a smaller CPA firm and then in 2001 decided to start his own business.

Audra grew up in the Rochester, NY area.  She attended SUNY at Buffalo.  After graduating in 1991 with a combined B.S./MBA in Accounting, she went to work for KPMG Peat Marwick in Buffalo. She earned her CPA, worked for a smaller CPA firm and then joined R.J. in their business in 2001 in a part-time capacity while raising their 5 children.
